Our local food banks are running very low—and WE CAN HELP!!! Please help support St. Mary’s Food Bank and its affiliate Phoenix Rescue Mission for the Souper Bowl of Caring.
Donate canned and non perishable food items all this week -- You can bring them to the church office. The Souper Bowl of Caring is the largest food drive in Arizona. For two weeks leading up to the NFL's biggest game - the Super Bowl - Arizonans, especially young people, collect money and food to fight hunger. Large groups can sign up by visiting www.souperbowl.org. Not registered – just show up and we’ll take care of the rest. Best of all every dollar you collect goes right to the Phoenix Rescue Mission to feed men, women and children. At Prince of Peace we hope to collect enough food that our group will be recognized by St. Mary’s. We could even win a signed football from Kurt Warner, who graciously donated it to help get more donations!!! Thank you all for supporting our community. |
