Arcadia Music Academy was established in 1991 by members and staff at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. These founders sought to provide quality music education for all ages, serving the congregation and surrounding community.

A committee worked with then Pastor Les Hoffman and parish musicians, Ed & Luella Hermanson, to lay the foundation for private and class instruction.

Following the Hermansons retirement, Ruth Anderson became Director in August 1996. Ms. Anderson resigned in the summer of 1999 and Michael Lindberg served as Interim Director of the 1999-2000 academic year.

In the spring of 2000, Judith Lawrence was hired as the Director of Arcadia Music Academy.

Mrs. Lawrence left in June of 2005 and Earl Fuchs served as the Interim Director.  In the fall of 2006 Glenda Rauscher was installed as the current Director.

Acclaimed musicians and instructors continue to serve as faculty members. Recitals provide students, faculty and members of the community opportunities to share God's gift of music in special and meaningful times.
