RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds from Web sites that contain article headlines, summaries and links back to full-text articles on the web. RSS feeds are a useful tool for keeping track of website updates. When an update is sent out, a small amount  of the article is included, along with a link back to the full text on the website.

RSS Feeds are typically indicated by an orange box rss feed mark or an RSS indicator rss feed.

In order to use RSS feeds, you need an aggregator, also known as a feed reader, or news reader. The aggregator can take RSS feeds from many web sites and display them in one location, making it very easy for you to keep track of news updates from many places.

There are many news readers available. Some are local desktop applications, and some are web based.  Here are 2 searches for finding a news reader.

Both My Yahoo and Google allow you to add RSS newsfeeds as "Content" to your personal pages. This allows you to track customized news updates, including updates from Prince of Peace, on your My Yahoo or customized Google pages.

Also check out Google Reader.

The Firefox web brower has a "Live Bookmarks " feature which can show news feeds directly in your Firefox bookmarks.

aPlaceOfGrace.org provides two RSS feeds, one for the main news of the web site, and another for the community forum.

To add a news feed to your news reader, simply locate the news feed icon, such as newsfeed icon, and copy the link location represented by the icon (for example right click->Copy Link Location...).  The paste this link location URL into the "Feed URL" input of your newsreader.

With Firefox, you can locate the newsfeed indicator in the Address bar live bookmark, and create a live bookmark.
