The sanctuary renovation is underway. Please join use for worship in Gangsei Hall (gym) while we complete the plan laid out by the Worship Space Renewal Task Force in May.

The plan involves many areas of the campus:

• All the carpet in the Sanctuary, hallways, and pods will be removed. The floor treatment will be acid-stain concrete with a matte finish.
• All the pews are being removed and transported to a space where they will receive refinishing before being reinstalled in the Sanctuary. Sanctuary Renewal
• The current light fixtures will be removed and replaced by hanging lanterns that will allow light to reflect in all directions.
• Each entrance to the Sanctuary will receive a new set of wood doors with glass inserts. The main doors will remain the same in shape, but receive double-paned glass inserts which will allow light to fill the Narthex.
• The north entrance will have handicap hardware added, making our building more handicap accessible.

In order for all this to take place there will be a lot of volunteers needed to help clean out and move items from the pods to our classrooms and other areas for storage. If you would like to help with this process please use the form below, and mention you want to help with the sanctuary.
