Arcadia Music Academy Arcadia Music Academy is a music school welcoming all generations who value music education, theater and the performing arts with interest in lifelong learning and service in the church and community. For more information, please check out the section for AMA. ChoirThe choir is open to all ages. Join in fellowship with other choir members. As a member of the choir, you will sing anthems at selected Sunday worship services, as well as special performances, such as cantatas during holiday seasons. You are welcome to join the choir at practices. Practices are most Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Joy RingersJoy Ringers is our bell choir, and offers fun for ages 10 and up. No experience or music reading ability is needed. The Joy Ringers normally meet on Sunday afternoons for practice. Contemporary Music - Praise TeamWe are always in need of musicians and singers for the Praise Team. Don't be shy - even if you see someone else playing your instrument we still want you! We will work with all instruments and skill levels. We play songs selected from today's Christian Contemporary Music, and offer a great opportunity for friendship and fellowship. Joyful Noise is the name that we are using to describe in informal league of musicians at Prince of Peace. Musicians of all ages, talents and skill levels are most enthusastically welcomed to join us and perform.
We will try to arrange pieces composed for various intruments (brass, strings, mixtures) over the church year. If you let us know you instrument, we'll let you know when an arrangement for your instrument is coming up. You can also check for announcements of upcoming performances and practice times. You are also welcome to perform or sing solo compositions! |
