We are all called to be active in the ministry of the church. God never intended for church to be a spectator sport:

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9).

 The Royal Priesthood means all of us - a "Priesthood of All Believers". We are all ministers.

Each of us has important work to do in the church, each with our own God-given abilities, skills and passions. We each have unique gifts to offer in fulfilling God's work. 

It is he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).

So if we each have special gifts to offer and share, how do we discover what they are? You can use the information in this article to discover your gifts. Then you can share them by volunteering.

Prince of Peace periodically has times when stewardship is addressed within our congregation; that is, when the offering of your time, your talent, and your financial giving is considered.

As you review these gifts, you may also wish to study the bible references, and then prayerfully discover which ministries and programs could be your best fit in our church and in our mission.
